I admit I was skeptical when I received this Shilajit instant coffee powder mix, as I'd tried one from another brand and the taste was not quite coffee-esque, but more earthy. This one from Bargad is amazing and tastes truly like regular powder instant coffee. The Shilajit is non-detectable. We travel often in off-grid locations or on camping trips, and it's so convenient to have these stashed in our little travel kitchen box. They mix up well without any clumps left at the bottom. We add a little half-and-half to ours--no sugar--and it's creamy, warming, and delicious. Bonus that we also get the wellness benefits of Shilajit while enjoying our morning brew. Highly recommend this Bargad product!

This coffee did taste really good with my regular milk and sweetener, but it did not include any instructions about how much water to add for each packet. I added 12 oz of water to two packets and it turned out perfect I think. It did keep me alert without jitters, but one thing to know is that the packets are somewhat difficult to open. There is no slot for tearing across, so you have to tear down the middle of the packet, which can get messy. Not sure if I would order again because of the price, but it was good quality instant coffee that seems high end of that's what you're looking for.

There are 2 ingredients total, Coffee Beans and Shilajit Extract which is nice not to have unnecessary additives. This is a very convenient way to get a mild caffeine boost combined with the benefit of Shilajit in travel friendly instant packets. I couldn't give it 5 stars as a black coffee drinker, initially the aroma and flavor were off putting but I got used to it but would not be able to say I enjoyed it. I do enjoy the benefits of it so it is a mixed bag for me. Other's opinions may vary...if you generally use cream or sweetener in your coffee I would imagine this would have less impact. It is not terrible but I did not enjoy the taste.
